Well
G'day there and thanks for stopping by my website and checking out what I have
been up to and where I will be playing live over the coming months. Here's a
brief rundown of what has been happening since I last updated.
SONGWRITING
AGAIN!!!
I
am pleased to report that the creative juices have started flowing again
with a batch of new songs that I have written on my own and with my
songwriting buddy and good friend Pam Spencer. It is nice to be back creating
new songs that I can't wait to start showcasing soon. Stay tuned for more on
the recording front soon.
LIGHT
OF HOPE CD!!!
Speaking
of recordings, I was very excited to be invited to sing a track on a
compilation cd called " Light of Hope". The cd was put together by
Brenda Lee Heathcote and Scott Shelley and features songs written by Brenda
herself. The album is dedicated to Brenda's brother, Brian Heathcote who was
tragically murdered whilst walking home from a venue on night. Funds from the
sale of the cd go to Qld Homicide Victims Support Group. The CD's cost $25 and
are available direct through me or by visiting www.meatpiemusic.com.
Other artists that have donated their talent for the cause are Anthony Snape,
Vanya, Candice Long, Pam Spencer, Bobby Cash, Sharon Lane, Jason Kemp, Brad
Lee, The Matekis and Tania Kernaghan.
CUNNAMULLA
MASTERS GAMES 2009!!!
Well
I am very excited to announce that Pam Spencer and Myself will be back in
Cunnamulla for the 2009 Masters Games on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of May. This
will be our 3rd trek out west but what a great time we always have with the
friendly locals and visitors. If you are heading out that way in May 2009 stop
in and say G'day.
2008
and beyond plans!!!!
Well
2007 I did hint that we would like to record a new album and get set to
release it and tour again, however life has a way of changing plans and
instead we made another crucial financial decision to purchase our first home
so there went the savings for the album. But don't despair another album is
still on the cards and we have been writing and gathering songs in the hope of
recording that 2nd album. As to when only time can tell but please stay tuned
and be assured you will be kept up to date on the website when we have more
official information. Thank you to all my loyal fans who keep in touch and
check back on the website to see what's happening. I am still alive and
kicking and still dreaming of that next step in my career. Meanwhile I am
working FULL TIME as a singer in the pubs and clubs around Queensland and New
South Wales. Make sure you check below for all my live performances.
